Horse Paddock Mix

Horse Paddock Mix, is made of grasses that have been selected because they are well suited for horses and are more durable than other pasture grass varieties.

Horse Paddock Mix is a perennial, perminant paddock mix that will require irrigation as needed in areas without adequate rainfall. 

It contains endophyte free tall fescue, pasture type bluegrass, bermudagrass, and dipliod italian ryegrass.  Even though this mix is more durable than conventional pasture mixes, it is important (as with all pasture plantings) to allow the grass to properly establish before you allow your horse back into the planted area and to rotate out of the paddock to maintain the viability of the grasses.

• 10% Crusdader Diploid Italian Ryegrass
• 10% Troy Pasture Kentucky Bluegrass
• 20% Pasture Bermudagrass
• 60% Safe Forage Tall Fescue

Plant at 25 to 30 pounds per acre
