Kara Orchardgrass      131-KOTE^TM

Kara is a fast establishing, drought tolerant perennial plant.  It establishes well in spring, summer and fall provided that soil and climate conditions are favorable.  It is recommended that 15 to 20 pounds per acre be planted.  Kara is also ideal to be included in perennial ryegrass mixes. It has a high level of persistency and productivity when rotationally grazed.  Kara provides rapid establishment and higher digestibility when compared to other orchardgrass cultivars.  This Seed comes coated with 131-KOTE^TM

The coating contains a nutrient package with 1-3-1 NPK analysis;  Total Nitrogen 1%, Available P₂O₅ 3%, Soluble Potash 1%, Sulfur 1%, Iron .17%

In addition to providing establishing seedlings with fertilizer in the coating, 131-KOTE^TM;

• Is hygroscopic- it will draw moisture to the coated seed
• Aids in seed placement during seeding ... which in turn enhances seed performance characteristics and plantability
• increases the size of hard to place seeds, aiding planting accuracy and improving coverage
